Ryan Leonard injury update – Millwall’s Mr Versatile still not close to first-team return

Gary Rowett has revealed that Millwall utility man Ryan Leonard is still a “couple of weeks away” from making a return from a hamstring injury.
Shaun Hutchinson and Mason Bennett returned to action during Wednesday night’s 1-1 draw with Rotherham, meaning Leonard is now the Lions’ only absentee.
And the former Southend United man is still not quite ready to make a return to training following his latest scan.
When he was asked for an update on Leonard, Rowett explained: “I think Lenny’s a little bit slower. He hadn’t quite healed properly on the last scan, so I think he’s going to be a couple of weeks away from being back training if all goes to plan.”
