Shane Ferguson on target in Millwall’s 1-0 win at Welling United

Shane Ferguson’s first-half goal earned a Millwall XI a 1-0 win at National League South side Welling United tonight.

The Northern Ireland international was one of a number of senior Lions players to get minutes at Park View Road – with Murray Wallace, Byron Webster and David Martin also in action.

Swindon Town manager Phil Brown was in the stands. Sid Nelson and Ben Thompson – two players who could potentially be loan movers later in the window – also featured.
