Sheffield United boss wants ‘full house’ at The Den for Millwall clash
Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom is hoping The Den will be at full capacity for tomorrow’s clash against Millwall.
The Blades head to South London second in the Championship and seven points clear of 3rd-placed Middlesbrough.
Gary Rowett’s side hosted Sheffield United for the FA Cup third-round clash at the start of January, with Heckingbottom’s side recording a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Daniel Jebbison and Jayden Bogle.
Millwall sit 7th in the Championship table and suffered defeat on the road at Coventry in midweek.
An attendance of 18,524 – the Lions’ biggest crowd since 1995 – turned up recently for the 1-1 draw with fellow play-off contenders Sunderland.
When asked what he expected from the Lions, Heckingbottom said: “What they have been and what they have always been successful at.
“At this stage of any season, this on the most points so far that they have been on.
“They have been finishing strong over the stage of every other season, so we know what we face.
“Almost two-thirds of their goals have come from set plays. They will try and get the tempo of the game up and turn us to get up the pitch.
“It’s going to be a tough, tough game. The atmosphere will be better than the FA Cup game – there will be more crowd in.
“I hope it’s a full house – it should feel that way.”
