Last bit from us this evening… The South London Press understands Blackburn Rovers enquired about taking Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan as part of the deal for Crystal Palace to sign Adam Wharton.

But the 21-year-old is firmly in Roy Hodgson’s plans for the second half of the season.

Wimbledon complete defender deal – 23:00PM

Wimbledon have announced the signing of 35-year-old defender John-Joe O’Toole on loan for the rest of the season from Mansfield.

Charlton complete Ramsay deal – 22:30PM

Charlton Athletic have announced the signing of Kayne Ramsay from Harrogate Town for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old right-back, who has registered five assists for Harrogate this term, has agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract to become the club’s eighth signing of the January transfer window.

Charlton midfielder rejoins Lincoln – 22:00PM

Charlton midfielder Conor McGrandels has rejoined Lincoln on a loan deal.

The 28-year-old has made 19 appearances for the Addicks and had a loan spell at Cambridge last season.

QPR sign midfielder from Newcastle – 21:30PM

QPR have signed Isaac Hayden on loan from Newcastle on loan until the end of the 2023-24 season.

“I feel very happy, very pleased to be joining QPR,” he said. “I am just delighted to get it over the line.

“It is obvious to see the position the club are in at the moment but it is a challenge that I feel I can add some value to, on and off the pitch – be an experienced player and be a leader to try and help the club stay in the league.

“Everyone knows what the Championship is like but if we can get a consistent run of performances, hopefully the points will come.”

AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of Josh Kelly from Solihull Moors.

The South London Press understands the Dons have shelled out £350k to land the 25-year-old.

He has penned an initial two-and-a-half-year deal at Plough Lane.

Charlton close on Harrogate defender – 17:40 PM

Charlton Athletic have agreed a fee for Harrogate Town right-sided defender Kayne Ramsay.

The South London Press understands that the 23-year-old is heading down for his medical.

Palace winger makes European loan move – 17:00 PM

Crystal Palace winger Malcolm Ebiowei has joined RWD Molenbeek on loan until the end of the season.

We exclusively revealed this morning that the Belgian side were keen on a move for the 20-year-old.

Millwall youth skipper set for National League loan – 15:52 PM

Millwall U21 captain Kamarl Grant is set to head to Bromley on loan. The defender will join until the end of the season.

Palace goalkeeper set for January stay – 14:46 PM

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is set to stay and fight for his place in Roy Hodgson’s first team after Nottingham Forest switched their deadline day attention to Strasbourg’s Matz Sels.

Johnstone wants to play regular football ahead of the Euros.

Former Charlton striker makes League One switch – 13:15 PM

Cambridge United have announced the loan signing of Macauley Bonne from League Two side Gillingham.

The ex-Charlton forward has linked up with former Millwall boss Neil Harris at The Abbey.

Lyle Taylor also recently joined Cambridge.

Clubs make contact with Palace over goalkeeper loan deal – 12:17 PM

The South London Press understands a handful of clubs have been in contact with Crystal Palace over a loan deal ahead of tonight’s transfer deadline.

Whitworth made his Premier League debut for the Eagles last season – becoming the club’s youngster goalkeeper in the top flight – in the 1-0 defeat at Brighton in March.

The 19-year-old was required to step up with both Vicente Guaita and Sam Johnstone missing through injury. He started the following game away at then-league-leaders Arsenal.

Palace defender could make deadline day departure – 12:00PM

The South London Press understands that Crystal Palace academy defender Danny Imray could make a deadline day exit.

Talks took place yesterday over a move away from Selhurst Park.

One potential exit from Charlton Athletic today could be Conor McGrandles.

The 28-year-old has seen his ex-manager Michael Appleton, who gave the captaincy role to him during their time together at Lincoln, sacked from his job at The Valley.

Ex-Falkirk midfielder McGrandles has made 19 appearances for the Addicks and had a loan spell at Cambridge last season.

Palace were offered deal to sign Lyon midfielder – 11:20 AM

Crystal Palace were offered the chance to sign Lyon midfielder Skelly Alvero but turned down the deal.

The 21-year-old towering defensive-minded midfielder has since joined German outfit Werder Bremen.

Fulham linked with PSG forward – 10:45 AM

Fulham have been linked with a move for PSG forward Hugo Ekitike.

The South London Press understands Crystal Palace, who were keen on the 21-year-old in the summer, have pulled out of the race for his signature.

Ekitike had agreed on a deal with the German side, Eintracht Frankfurt, but Premier League side Fulham are in the market for a striker – having been linked with Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

Johnstone deal could be on the rocks – 9:46 AM

A deal for Sam Johnstone to join Nottingham Forest could collapse with Palace’s Premier League rivals reportedly in talks with Strasbourg over a deal to sign Matz Sels.

The England keeper has lost his spot in Roy Hodgson’s starting 11 to Dean Henderson, with the Euros taking place this summer.

Palace set to confirm Wharton deal – 9:30 AM

Crystal Palace are set to confirm the signing of Blackburn midfielder Adam Wharton.

The Eagles submitted a bid which could rise to £22million with add-ons and the 19-year-old.

Palace’s first bid of £15m, with £3.5m in add-ons, was turned down by Rovers.

He will become Palace’s second signing of the window after right-back Daniel Munoz.

Molenbeek eye loan move for Crystal Palace winger – 8:50 AM

RWD Molenbeek are eyeing a deadline day loan move for Crystal Palace winger Malcolm Ebiowei, the South London Press understands.

The 20-year-old has featured five times for the first team since joining on a free transfer from Derby County.

Tayo Adaramola joined the Belgian Pro League side on loan earlier in January.

Chelsea open to loaning Broja – 8:24 AM

It is being reported that Chelsea are willing to loan out striker Armando Broja.

The Athletic are reporting that the Blues will let him leave on a straight loan with a significant fee.

Fulham have shown interest during the window.

Palace eye move for West Ham winger – 7:05 AM

Crystal Palace are eyeing a deadline day move for West Ham’s Maxwel Cornet, the South London Press understands.

The 27-year-old has only featured twice in the Premier League this season for the Hammers, scoring against Sheffield United earlier this month when he made his first start of the season.

Ex-Burnley winger Cornet can also play at left-back, which would provide cover for Tyrick Mitchell.

The Ivory Coast international joined the east Londoners at the start of the 2022-23 season and has recorded 31 outings to his name.

Palace also remain keen on Marsille’s Iliman Ndiaye but it is yet to be seen whether they can secure a deal before tonight’s deadline.

The Senegal forward joined the French side in the summer from Sheffield United and has turned out 23 times.

The Eagles have signed Daniel Munoz from Genk and are set to sign Adam Wharton from Blackburn.

Millwall completed the signing of Adam Mayor from Morecambe yesterday and have also signed Japhet Tanganga from Spurs and Michael Obafemi from Burnley.

Managerless Charlton have signed Conor Coventry, Freddie Ladapo, Tyreeq Bakinson, Rarmani Edmonds-Green, Lewis Fiorini and Macaulay Gillesphey.

And the Dons turned Joe Lewis into a permanent deal and signed John-Kymani Gordon and Kofi Balmer on loan from Crystal Palace.
