Southwark win BMX at 2019 London Youth Games

Southwark won gold at the 2019 London Youth Games event which was held at Merton Saints’ track – with Lambeth claiming bronze.

The Lambeth riders mostly came from Brixton BMX Club and included Charlie Langdon-Davies, Gaia Bickelmann, Rian Koehler, Caelan Freeman-Walshe, Tyler Donohue, Moses Hylton, , Lukas Nollet, Rudi Keane, George Kavanagh-Clarke, Louis Keane, Dexter Duncan, Lukah McKenzie, Leon Bickelmann, Jan Hartwich, Riley Samett, Kieran Beneochrist, Max Allfrey and Tien Albert.

Teigan Hastings won gold (boys 13-14 experts). There were bronze medals for Isla Radcliffe (girls 9-10 experts), Steve Osarenkoe (boys 13-14 novices) and Joel Peck (boys 13-14 experts).

Brixton BMX Club members riding for Lewisham were Alicia Cole, Lewis Cole, Kian Cole, Charlie Strassburg, Sebastian Strassburg, Nash Kachidza, Rufus Bignold and Harrison Bukowski while Leo Boller, Saul Taylor and Oliver Wong represented Wandsworth.

Harvey Tomlinson rode for Bromley with Jaden Higgins in action for Croydon.
