Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has announced that Michael Olise has signed a new deal with the club.
Chelsea believed earlier in the week that they triggered the release clause in Olise’s pervious Palace deal.
However, the French U21 international has now put pen-to-paper on a four-year extension.

Olise recorded 11 assists last season in the Premier League, becoming the first player in the club’s history to reach double figures for assists in the modern-day top flight.
The former Reading academy graduate has missed the start of the season after suffering a hamstring injury – which required surgery – on international duty with France’s U21 side at this summer’s U21 European Championship.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson revealed before Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win over Sheffield United on Olise is out for a “considerable period” of time.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City youngster penned a five-year deal at Selhurst Park – expiring in 2026 – when he joined Palace from Reading in 2021.
The Eagles triggered an £8million release clause in his Reading contract to secure his services,
Olise has made 71 appearances for Palace, scoring six times and picking up 19 assists in all competitions.
