Stevenage boss says new signing ‘desperate’ to get going against Charlton Athletic

Alex Revell has said his side are looking forward to introducing their new signings for the first time against Charlton Athletic tomorrow at The Valley.
Charlton have found form of late, picking up three wins on the bounce while strengthening through the loan signings of Tom McIntyre and Alex Gilbert from Portsmouth and Middlesbrough respectively.
Stevenage have amassed a four-game winning streak of their own in League One but fell to a 1-0 loss to Birmingham on Tuesday in the EFL Trophy.
Stevenage’s new recruits include winger Kyle Edwards, who arrived from Oxford United on a permanent deal on deadline day, as well as the loan signing of Brandon Hanlan from Wycombe Wanderers.
“We look forward to getting Hanlan in the squad,” said Revell. “With Edwards we wanted to be a bit patient to make sure he’s ready to go. He is ready and he’s desperate to get going.
“We have got some real good options now to come into the team on Saturday. We will get everybody refreshed and ready.
“It’s a fantastic game for us now to go away and put in another performance like we can.
“We have just got to keep pushing and keep progressing, and keep building on what we have done over the past few weeks, and all season really.
“We are really excited by what we have gone and put together and we are looking forward to Saturday.”
