Streatham-Croydon Rugby Club launch GoFundMe to secure club’s future for next season

BY DIANA MORAIS

Streatham-Croydon Rugby Club is one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world.

They’re an inclusive club, offering free Easter and summer holiday camps to hundreds of local children, and provision of pitches free-of-charge for local schools that have no playing fields and a variety of community projects.

In addition, this year, they made club history and fielded two women’s teams.

Despite their legacy, they are sadly facing a multitude of challenges on all fronts, which has culminated in a serious financial situation.

Without significant support, they will be forced to close their doors for good.

They have to launch a GoFundMe campaign to raise ÂŁ10,000 as soon as possible in order to secure the club’s future for next season.

They are in desperate need of a short-term fix, and this is where your help is key.
