Ticket sales for day five of England v South Africa Test at The Oval will be donated to charity

Proceeds from ticket sales for day five of the Test Series between England and South Africa will be donated to charity.

The amount raised will be split evenly between Chance to Shine, Lambeth Food Bank Trust, Sport United Against Dementia and the Surrey Cricket Foundation.

The Test Series resumed today, Saturday September 10, for day three after day two was cancelled as a mark of respect to Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on Thursday.

Monday September 12 will be the official day five, and the hope is for a full house to help cheer the England team on to victory in a match now being played in the honour of the Royal Family.

Adult tickets are still available via Surrey’s website for £20, while children’s tickets are available for just £1.

Everyone at the South London Press thanks you for your continued support.

Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:

“A FREE COUNTRY NEEDS A FREE PRESS, AND THE NEWSPAPERS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE UNDER SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL PRESSURE”

If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online. Or please make cheques payable to “MSI Media Limited” and send by post to South London Press, Unit 112, 160 Bromley Road, Catford, London SE6 2NZ
