Tottenham striker will be big benefit from Millwall training camp
Gary Rowett reckons that Troy Parrott will majorly benefit from Millwall’s training camp in Scotland this week.
The Lions head off to Oriam today.
Parrott, 18, was signed on a season-long loan from Tottenham.
He is the only new face so far, although Stoke midfielder Ryan Woods has returned for a second loan spell in SE16.
“One of the main benefits of these type of camps is that anyone new gets to know the lads,” said Millwall manager Rowett. “He has settled in really, really well but it’s another opportunity for the group to be together 24-7.
“It’s not just about the training, it’s about interaction and building a little bit of a rapport. For someone like Troy that will be absolutely vital for him, to spend that time with the squad.”
