Wally Downes: AFC Wimbledon transfer business is nearly complete

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Wally Downes says that nearly all of his AFC Wimbledon transfer business is done – and it is just down to the club to announce it.

The Dons confirmed a deal for young defender Nesta Guiness-Walker at the end of May.

And Downes told the South London Press that the League One outfit have other switches sorted.

“I think we’re just about done,” he said. “I’ve got a little bit of wildcard money, but not a great deal.

“It is the club’s decision how and when they do incomings and outgoings. We’re all aware of what is going on and it is how and when they release it.”
