West Ham United man has quality message for Charlton Athletic fans

Josh Cullen has described his Charlton Athletic loan stays as “a pleasure”.

The Republic of Ireland international has headed back to parent club West Ham United after the completion of the Championship season.

And the Addicks have no prospect of a third successive loan deal for Cullen following their relegation to League One.

The 24-year-old has played 66 matches for Charlton – including winning promotion to the Championships via the play-offs.

Cullen posted on his Instagram page: “Despite the season not ending how we wanted it to, it was a pleasure to pull on the Charlton shirt over the past two seasons.

“A big thanks to everyone at the club for their hard work and the fans for the support along the way.

“I wish the club all the best in the future.”
