WIMBLEDON- Live from the press box: Edmund breaks in first game against USA Klahn
By PAUL LAGAN
Britain’s Kyle Edmunds broke US Bradley Edmunds in the opening game which lasted nine minutes which was full with powerful sliced fore and backhands, which Edmunds eventually came out on top.
Powerful serving from the 23-year-old South African born Edmunds, coupled with some, thankfully for him, unforced errors which were not too damaging ensured a 2/0 lead.
A bird interrupted play in the third game – which was shooed away by a ballgirl, and Klahn served out to be 1/2.
