Summer fun at Camberwell Lodge Care and Nursing Home

Residents at Camberwell Lodge Care and Nursing Home in Southwark have enjoyed getting out and about this Summer.

After the brand-new care and nursing home was opened in May, our team at Camberwell Lodge have warmly welcomed the first residents to our beautiful home.

People have enjoyed a range of daily activities from gentle chair-based exercise to quizzes and gardening.

The care home has also hosted community events, including a BBQ with the Mayor and Mayoress of Southwark and a Social Dance Workshop with the Blue Elephant Theatre group.

People from the local community joined residents at Camberwell Lodge for the dancing workshop.

Commenting on the day, Senior Customer Relations Manager Nina Rogers said: “We all enjoyed moving to the beat and learning new skills. We will be hosting the sessions every week throughout September.”

Whilst Home Manager Beata Gozdur said: “Our residents love music and dancing, and this was a great chance to socialise and meet new friends.

The sessions are ideal for people who love to dance but perhaps haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy their favourite pastime for a while.”

Please get in touch with Nina on 07549 035 654 to book a place on the Social Dancing workshop.
