Lewis Grabban back – and scoring – ahead of Millwall return this weekend

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Lyle Taylor is a doubt to face Millwall tomorrow – with the Forest striker coming off in their 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.

Lewis Grabban – another former Lions player – replaced him in the 76th minute at the City Ground and subsequently netted his first goal of the campaign.

Grabban, 32, has been out with a hip injury since October.

“When you’ve got the ability that Lewis has – and the goals he can get – it’s great to have him back,” said Forest manager Chris Hughton.

“Even if he hadn’t got the goal it is great to have him in the squad and changing room again.

“He’s a very well-respected player in the dressing room because of what he’s done.

“I have to say I thought Lyle Taylor worked hard on Tuesday – there was a lot of physicality about him and he kept the ball in areas.

“The impression I get is that it was a kick [that forced him off]. So it’s one where he’ll be sore the day after. I hope with it being a Tuesday, and not a Wednesday, that he’ll be okay with an extra day to recover.”

Forest have only one away league victory – 1-0 at Blackburn Rovers on October 17.
