Charlton Athletic v Shrewsbury team line-ups: Famewo starts for Addicks as Forster-Caskey misses out

Akin Famewo comes into Charlton’s starting 11 for today’s home game against Shrewsbury Town with Jake Forster-Caskey missing out due to injury.

The on-loan Norwich City centre-back was rested for the 2-1 win over Northampton Town in midweek.

Famewo will slot into the middle of the Addicks defence alongside club captain Jason Pearce. Darren Pratley is pushed further forward with Forster-Caskey missing out due to a hamstring injury.

Charlton are bidding for back-to-back league victories at The Valley for the first time since the start of November.

They could move back into the League One play-off positions with three points today.

Charlton: Amos, Gunter, Famewo, Pearce, Maatsen, Pratley, Watson, Morgan, Millar, Stockley, Washington. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Oshilaja, Jaiyesimi, Aneke, Shinnie, Smith, Schwartz.

Shrewsbury: Burgoyne, Daniels, Williams, Ebanks-Landell, Pennington, Ogbeta, Vela, Walker, Goss, Chapman, Main. Subs: Sarkic, Edwards, Whalley, Pyke, Sears, Udoh, Davis.
