Millwall agree new deals for highly-rated youngsters Olaofe and Muller

Millwall have announced new deals for academy graduates Isaac Olaofe, Hayden Muller, Ryan Sandford, Joe Wright and Besart Topalloj.

Olaofe, 21, spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan with Sutton United and he finished as their top goalscorer with 14 goals as the National League club were promoted to the EFL for the first time in their history.

Muller has been with the Lions since U13 level. The 19-year-old made his Championship debut against Huddersfield Town in the last game of the 2019-20 season before featuring against Watford and Bristol City towards the back end of last season.

Goalkeepers Sandford and Wright have also both extended their stays at The Den.

Sandford was regularly involved on matchdays last season as Gary Rowett’s third choice goalkeeper, behind Frank Fielding and Bartosz Bialkowski.

Despite a stop-start season due to injury, 20-year-old Wright played in the last few U23 matches and will remain in South London next year.

Topalloj has also signed a new contract in SE16, after becoming a mainstay in Kevin Nugent’s U23 side.
