Two men charged with murder after man dies from stab wound in Woolwich

Two men have been charged with murder after a 26-year-old was stabbed in Woolwich last month.

Emmanuel Ogabi was found collapsed in the street at around 8am on October 21 on Sandy Hill Road.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a post-mortem found the cause of death to be a single stab wound.

A murder investigation was launched, led by Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.

On Friday, November 12, officers arrested Denzel Maposa, 23, of Bromley Gardens, Dunstable and Onyema Olisa, 26, of Boone Street SE13. Both men were charged with murder and appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 13 November.

They were remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey today.
