Police search for three men after antisemitic incident in Oxford Street
Police investigating an antisemitic incident in Oxford Street are looking for three men that they would like to speak to.
A video widely shared on social media, filmed on Oxford Street at around 8pm on Monday, November 29, showed occupants of a privately hired bus being abused by a group of men.
The occupants of the bus were Jewish and the abuse directed at them was allegedly antisemitic in nature.
Detective Inspector Kevin Eade, from the local policing team in Westminster, said: “Our investigation into this appalling incident continues and we are now in a position to release three clearer images of the men we would like to speak to.
“Despite extensive enquiries over the past week, we are yet to make any arrests, however I am confident that somebody will recognise the people in these images, and I would urge anyone who does to contact us immediately.”
The bus left the location to avoid any further confrontation and police met it in Grosvenor Place to speak to the occupants and check on their welfare.
There were no reports of any injuries.
