Cops search for travelling man who attacked and abused two on East Croydon train

Police are searching for the perpetrator after two men were subjected to a vicious homophobic attack on a train to East Croydon.

The victims were physically attacked and verbally abused on a service between London Bridge and East Croydon stations.

Cops yesterday, Monday January 10, released CCTV images in connection with the incident.

At just before 7.30pm on 27 December 2021, a man subjected two victims to a tirade of homophobic abuse before assaulting them both.

As a result of the attack one of the victims suffered a broken toe for which he required treatment at hospital.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
