Greenwich parents urged to register children for primary school before deadline
Parents in Greenwich are being encouraged to submit their preferred options for children who are set to start primary school in September 2022 as the deadline looms.
The deadline for applications is Saturday, January 15.
Councillor Matt Morrow, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, has urged families to submit their applications before it’s too late.
Cllr Morrow said: “We are blessed with fantastic primary schools in our borough, filled with hardworking and caring teachers.
“It’s important for families to submit their applications before the deadline so our team can work to give students the best start to their primary education. Visit our website for more information on the application.”
Parents can apply for up to six primary schools, listing them in order of preference.
Details and answers to frequently asked questions can be found online, along with information about the appeals processes, statistics and oversubscription criteria.
