Theatrical production Summer Solstice playing at the Union Theatre from 20th June
This heart-melting theatrical production is brought to spectacular life in an intimate theatre at the Union.
Theo and Alba are very different people. Or maybe not so different.
They meet at a Summer Solstice festival in the year 2000, and immediately hit it off.
Despite being betrothed or married to another already, Theo and Alba make a pact.
A pact that will see them through nearly two decades of their lives.
Every June they meet at the place where they first met, here they share their deepest feelings, help solve each other’s problems and ultimately fall deeper in love.
The cast features Mel Masry as Theo from a background of Film & Commercials, Tim Dankert as Leon / Narrator, and Anya Fedorova as Alba.
It is produced by Telling Pictures Ltd.
Mel Masry is a British Born Actor/Model, a West Londoner of Egyptian heritage.
After publishing his book ‘A letter on Love’, which had been receiving high praise, he decided to combine his acting skills and writing to produce his first play.
He will also be one of the performers. His love for romance and comedy has always been a genre to live and breathe for.
But this time, this plot comes with a twist, and it’s not to miss.
