Dons sign Bristol City defender on season-long loan
AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of Ryley Towley on a season-long loan from Bristol City.
The Dons beat the deadline to bring in the centre-back, who can also play left-back and in midfield.
The 20-year-old has made four appearances for the Robins since signing for them in 2019.
The youngster has enjoyed loan spells at Frome Town, Taunton Town and more recently Grimsby Town, where he made 13 appearances.
Dons manager Johnnie Jackson told the club’s official website: “He’s someone that we’ve been tracking for a while. He’s a talented young centre-back, he’s a good size and he’s really comfortable on the ball.
“He’s been brought up the right way by playing for Bristol City. We feel that he’ll fit right into our system and we expect him to be a big part of what we are looking to do moving forwards.”
