Anyone fancy a pork doughnut?

Yes, you read that correctly.

You know what they say, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it and, actually, you haven’t lived until you sink your teeth into this innovative snack.

The description alone will send most hearts racing, but in a good way.

Smoked pork, nduja, chilli jam and crackling, served inside a doughnut bun.

From The Ashes is in residence at Gipsy Hill Taproom from now until January 2023.

Barbecue and beer is a winning combination.

A weekly-changing menu, including a smoked barbecue sharing platter, barbecue cauliflower florets and smoked beef bun are just the thing to wash down a pint of Hepcat, a classic session IPA, full bodied, with juicy, fruity notes.

That’s not forgetting Hunter and Bandit, house beers that also match the dishes.

It’s a good idea to book, particularly given the start of the World Cup on November 20.

Games will be shown on a big screen in the brewery, directly opposite the taproom.

Open Wed/Thursday/Friday: 5.30pm9:30pm, Saturday: noon to 9.30pm and Sunday noon until 6pm.
