Man rushed to hospital after Peckham High Street stabbing

A man has been hospitalised after being stabbed in broad daylight in Peckham High Street this afternoon.

Police were called at around 1pm to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Peckham High Street and Rye Lane.

Officers attended, along with the London Ambulance Service, and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with a stab wound.

His condition was assessed as not life-threatening. 

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody. 

Enquiries are ongoing, and any witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting CAD 3251/02Dec.
