Police looking for man who grabbed rail worker by the neck

Police have released an image of a man in connection with an assault at Tooting railway station.

At around 5pm on October 26, a man attempted to shuffle through the ticket barrier when he was challenged by a member of rail staff.

The man then pushed through the barrier and grabbed the member of staff’s neck before leaving the station.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise him, or have any further information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 414 of 26 October.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
