Bart Bialkowski gets a fresh opportunity in Millwall win over Rotherham – as George Long misses out due to “family situation”

Gary Rowett explained that a “family situation” kept George Long out of their matchday squad for today’s 3-0 victory over Rotherham and added it was an opportunity for Bartosz Bialkowski.
Bialkowski made his first start since early September.
That is now three clean sheets in a row for Millwall – two for Long and one for Bialkowski.
Rowet, asked about Long’s absence, said: “[It was a] family situation. Hopefully everything’s gone well, but he rang me in the middle of the night so it was clear he wasn’t going to make the game.
“It’s an opportunity for Bart. He’s waited patiently. It’s a bit unfair that George has come out the team not through performances, so I’ll have to think about that on the back of the FA Cup game.
“It’s given Bart a chance to go and play a couple of games and get that feel again and he looked more than comfortable.”
