Londoners advised to check before they travel ahead of Tube and national rail strikes next week
RMT and ASLEF union members have organised strikes for next week which will impact London Underground and rail services across the capital.
Transport for London (TfL) and National Rail have urged customers to check before they travel and to leave extra time for their journeys.
Limited or no services are expected on the Tube network on March 15.
Elizabeth Line and London Overground services will be much busier than normal on this day, and queuing systems may be in place.
These services, as well as the DLR and London Trams, are expected to run as normal, but the closure of Tube stations may mean some services will be unable to stop at all stations or run to their normal destination.
Buses will also run as normal but they may also be busier than usual.
National rail strikes planned on March 16 will impact London Overground, the Elizabeth Line and some Tube services.
Although the industrial action does not involve TfL staff on this day, disruption is expected on parts of the District and Bakerloo lines, London Overground and the Elizabeth Line, as these lines all share some sections of track with Network Rail.
Most other TfL services will run as usual on this day.
All services affected by the strikes may be disrupted until late morning on March 16 and 17.
On Saturday, March 18, RMT members from 14 train operators are planning to strike, which is expected to make TfL services busier than usual.
