Dons recall youngsters ahead of Newport trip

AFC Wimbledon have recalled Alifie Bendle from his loan spell at Eastbourne Borough.

Defender Luke Jenkins has also been recalled by the South Londoners from his stint at Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Midfielder Bendle, 18, made 10 appearances while on loan with the National League South side.

Jenkins made 12 appearances in the same competition for Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Wimbledon have been unable to name a full bench in the last three League Two outings.

Lee Brown, Harry Pell, Huseyin Biler and Diallang Jaiyesimi have all been sidelined through injury in recent weeks.

The Dons head to Newport this evening looking to get their first win in eight.
