Details revealed of how much Millwall paid in agent fees – and where that puts them in Championship list

Millwall paid just less than £750,000 in agent fees for the period between February 2022 and the end of January 2023.

Championship clubs spent a total of £36.3million.

Six clubs spent lower amounts than the Lions, whose total was £742,507.

Burnley, Norwich and Watford all paid in excess of £4m each.

The lowest spenders were Reading (£200,323).

Millwall made six signings in that period – including club record signing Zian Flemming. Other additions included Andreas Voglsammer, Duncan Watmore, Aidomo Emakhu, Benik Afobe and George Honeyman.

The payments and transactions involving intermediaries registered in England from February 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023 were published on Friday in accordance with FIFA’s regulations on working with intermediaries.

It also showed that there were contract extensions for Billy Mitchell, Murray Wallace, Tyler Burey, Danny McNamara, George Long and Bart Bialkowski.
