Join us for a free day of fun to celebrate the Coronation

To celebrate one of the busiest days of this calendar year, the King’s coronation, join us on Saturday, May 6 from 11am-5pm at Castle Square in Elephant and Castle for a free coronation party.

Adding to the buzz across London, people are invited to come and celebrate the big day with lots of food and entertainment for people of all ages.

Visitors to the event can look forward to live entertainment and music from a fantastic brass band which will be playing across the day, adding to the festive atmosphere of the occasion.

In addition, there will be plenty of delicious food stalls from the Castle Square traders in the area, offering a variety of cuisines including Caribbean from Original Caribbean Spice, Ecuadorian from El Guambra and Guyanese from Kaietuer Kitchen Original to African dishes from Daddy O’s.

Castle Square is a hot spot for foodies serving up an array of food from across the globe including Italian, Colombian and Brazilian.

Throughout the day there will also be free face painting for families to enjoy as part of the celebrations, so make sure you arrive early to ensure you miss the queues.
