AFC Wimbledon’s pre-season begins to take shape – with League One opposition confirmed

AFC Wimbledon will host League One side Portsmouth in preparations for their 2023-24 season.

John Mousinho’s side will also head to Plough Lane to face the Dons on Tuesday, July 25 – 7 pm kick-off.

Pompey, who signed former Wimbledon loanee Ryley Towler in the winter, finished eighth in League One.

Ex-Wimbledon striker Joe Pigott spent last season on loan at Fratton Park, scoring four goals in 35 League One appearances.

Johnnie Jackson’s side finished 21st in League Two last season. 

Wimbledon have already confirmed they will head to Spain for a six-day pre-season training camp, along with a friendly at National League side Woking.
