Tennis: Catford Wanderers’ ladies earn win at Gravesham

Catford Wanderers’ ladies first team and mixed second side secured weekend wins.

The ladies triumphed at Gravesham, where their young junior star Annis Frimpong, partnering Steph James excelled. They won both their matches. Kathy Aldridge and Sarah Griffin won one and halved one.

The mixed second team defeated Bexleyheath at home on Sunday. The side was Rob Dawbarn and Donna Gabriel,  John Allen and Kathy Aldridge and Brian Brass and Julie Taylor.

The mixed third side were well beaten by a classy Greenwich Park side. The side was Surav Dalal and Terri Borg, Ilya Kumanichliev and Sue Rice-Vine and Denis Coatelloe and Nicole Martin.
