Summer Screen returns to Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in July

You don’t get much better than an outdoor cinema in summer, and this one is free.

The Summer Screen will return to Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in July.

Running every Tuesday throughout the month, each screening will feature a classic film.

There is something for everyone to enjoy, including Frozen, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Grease.

Now in its 10 year, this could be one of London’s best-kept summer screenings secrets.

The event is free, but attendees can sign up to reserve a spot and be entered in the weekly competitions.

Bring your own blankets, chairs, and refreshments if you can, but chairs and blankets will be available on request.

Food and drink vendors will also be on-site for those who wish to purchase refreshments.

Everyone at the South London Press thanks you for your continued support.

Former Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick has encouraged everyone in the country who can afford to do so to buy a newspaper, and told the Downing Street press briefing:

“A FREE COUNTRY NEEDS A FREE PRESS, AND THE NEWSPAPERS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE UNDER SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL PRESSURE”

If you can afford to do so, we would be so grateful if you can make a donation which will allow us to continue to bring stories to you, both in print and online. Or please make cheques payable to “MSI Media Limited” and send by post to South London Press, Unit 112, 160 Bromley Road, Catford, London SE6 2NZ
