Two-year-old baby in ‘life-threatening’ condition after fall from height
A two-year-old baby girl has been left in a “life-threatening” condition after a fall from height, believed to be from a block of flats.
The child was taken to a hospital by London’s Air Ambulance after the Met was called at around 1pm this afternoon to Worsley Bridge Road in Lower Sydenham.
Resident Lorna Jones said she heard a woman screaming who then ran to the front of Kelvin House, a block of flats, from the back of the building.

“It was crazy,” she said. “Loads of police turned up and then an air ambulance landed behind my house. The woman who screamed was taken away in a police car.
“Whatever it was it happened behind Kelvin House. It’s horrendous.”
A spokesman for the Met said: “A two-year-old child was found suffering from injuries consistent with a suspected fall from height.
