Former Millwall loanee a deadline day addition at Birmingham City

Former Millwall attacker Oliver Burke has signed for Birmingham City.

The Lions face them today in the early Championship kick off.

Burke has had two loan spells with Millwall, including the second half of the previous campaign, and scored four goals in 31 appearances.

Birmingham have taken him on a season-long loan from Werder Bremen.

The 26-year-old is the Blues’ 13th signing of the summer transfer window.

He has completed his switch too late to face Gary Rowett’s side.

“I am delighted to finally be here,” said Burke. “Obviously, it is nice and late in the window, but I am happy to get it done.

“It has been a long day, but all worth it in the end. I am very happy to be here.”
