Police looking for serial sex offender release CCTV image

Police officers investigating a series of sex offences have releasing a CCTV image in connection.

On August 31 at around 6.30am, a man exposed himself and masturbated in front of a woman on a tube from Brixton, before leaving the service at Stockwell station.

Around 20 minutes later that same morning the man reboarded the service to Brixton and again exposed himself and masturbated while standing next to another woman.

On September 5, a woman boarded the underground at Brixton at around 6.20am where a man was already on board and masturbating. She challenged him about his behaviour and he stopped.

Five days later, a woman entered Golders Green underground station followed by a man who then stood next to her on the platform and masturbated at her.

British Transport Police (BTP) officers believe the man in the image they have released may have information which could help their investigation.

A spokesman for BTP said: “Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 457 of 31 August.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
