Irvine Welsh’s Porno transfers to the Arts Theatre from October 29 until December 10

Set 15 years on from 1996 blockbuster Trainspotting, what has become of Renton, Sickboy, Begbie and Spud?

Disturbing, shocking and extremely funny this show contains swearing, sexual language, debauchery, drug use and even more swearing.

Irvine Welsh’s Porno will transfer to the Arts Theatre West End for a season of seven Sunday nights from October 29, until December 10.

Mark Renton hasn’t been back to Leith since… well, since he robbed his pals and disappeared to Amsterdam.

Life has been good, but there’s always been something missing.

How will Sickboy, Begbie and Spud react to the return of Renton?

Davie Carswell, writer and producer of the play, said: “The adaptation follows the novel as closely as possible. We’ve used plenty of Irvine’s writing verbatim to give it a really authentic script.

“The show deals with reaching a certain age and reflecting on what you’ve achieved, or not as the case may be.”
