Crystal Palace striker set for League One move

Crystal Palace striker Ademola Ola-Adebomi is set to join Burton Albion on loan.

The U21 striker is also set to put pen to paper on a new one-year extension at Selhurst Park – taking his deal to 2026 – before heading out on his first stint away from the club.

Ola-Adebomi has 13 goals and two assists to his name in all competitions this season and has been named in Roy Hodgson’s senior matchday squad multiple times.

The Lewisham-raised forward also won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for November 2023.

Burton are 15th in League One and managed by former Stoke City midfielder Martin Paterson.

Molenbeek and Shrewsbury were also keen on a deal for Ola-Adebomi this January.
