Man charged with attempted murder after shooting
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting that left a man seriously injured.
Omar Lynch, 39, of Elmers End Road, Bromley, has also been charged with possession of a gun and ammunition.
He is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court today.
The charges come following a shooting in East Road, Newham on Monday.
A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with a gunshot injury, where he remains – his condition is not life threatening, the Met said.
