Nathan Jones on Kayne Ramsay injury and Tyreeq Bakinson’s absence at Bolton
Nathan Jones has warned that the injury Kayne Ramsay suffered in midweek is “not minor.”
The right-sided defender limped out of his full Charlton debut against Lincoln City with a hamstring complaint. The 23-year-old was absent for the trip to Bolton on Saturday, as was fellow January arrival Tyreeq Bakinson.
“We haven’t got everything yet,” said Jones when asked how Ramsay’s scans went.
“Look, it’s not a minor one. It’s something a little bit more serious. We’ll have that assessed in the next few days.
“[Bakinson] was ill. He travelled with us and then we had to send him home. Panutche Camara was lucky because he picked up an injury on Thursday.”
