Former Charlton loanee nominated for League Two Player of the Season

Ex-Charlton loanee Elliot Lee has been nominated for League Two Player of the Season for his performances for League One-chasing Wrexham.

The attacking midfielder, 29, has scored 15 goals and racked up four assists in 41 outings so far this season.

Lee is up against Davis Keillor-Dunn of Mansfield and Notts County’s Jodi Jones for the award.

The winner of the award will be announced on April 14.

Lee spent the 2021-22 season on loan from Luton Town with Charlton, racking up four goals and the same number of assists across the campaign.

He signed a three-year deal with Wrexham in the National League in July 2022 and helped fire the club to the Football League last season.

Wrexham are third in the fourth tier and four points off table toppers Stockport.
