Charlton Athletic injury update ahead of Bradford City match
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Jonny Williams is fit for Charlton’s home game against Bradford City on Saturday.
The attacking midfielder has been out with a hamstring injury – but fortunately it partly coincided with an international break.
Addicks manager Lee Bowyer said: “Jonny is back training. He’s done well and got through the sessions on Monday and Tuesday. He trained, so he’s good.
“We’ve also had good news with Jake [Forster-Caskey]. He joined in training with us on Tuesday – non-contact, but that’s a good sign for him and for us.”
Krystian Bielik (ankle) is only set to miss this weekend after returning from international duty with Poland U21s with an ankle injury.
“We’re hoping that we’ll be okay for the week after,” said Bowyer. “It’s bad enough to keep him out this weekend.”
