Crystal Palace quartet set for final England Euro 2024 squad
Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton, Eberechi Eze, Marc Guehi and Dean Henderson all look set to be included in Gareth Southgate’s final 26-man squad ahead of Euro 2024.
South Londoner Eze won his first start under former Palace captain Southgate on Monday night in the 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Wharton made his Three Lions senior debut and impressed during his cameo – completing 100 per cent of his passes after coming on in the 63rd minute.
Centre-back Guehi started the game and looks set to be first choice under Southgate alongside John Stones, with Harry Maguire reportedly set to miss out due to a calf injury.
Dean Henderson is set to head to the competition as the third-choice keeper, behind Everton’s Jordan Pickford and Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale.
Jack Grealish, James Maddison, Jarrad Branthwaite, James Trafford. Curtis Jones, Jarrell Quansah and Maguire are all reportedly set to miss out.
