Millwall boss hoping for positive news on injured trio

Millwall head coach Neil Harris is still waiting to discover the full extent of the injuries to Murray Wallace, Niino Adom-Malaki and Zian Flemming.

Wallace and Malaki were forced off with issues in Friday’s friendly against Real Murcia in Alicante. Flemming did not feature against the Spanish side.

Asked if there was an update, Harris told the South London Press yesterday: “No, not yet. We’re hoping for positives news on Niino, Murray and Zian Flemming, who didn’t play the last game.

“Hutch fully trained while we were there. The reason Hutch didn’t play against Murcia was because he was ill.

“Hutch to be involved this week is a priority for us. Connal Trueman comes back into the training group.”

Flemming has a calf niggle.

“It was precautionary (not to play him) but we couldn’t get a scan while we were away,” said Harris. “Zian has had the scan, we’re just awaiting results.”
