Appeal to trace man after woman attacked by dog on board train
Police have released the image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a dog attack on board a train last month.
The incident happened just after 6pm on August 9, on a train between Bromley South and Chatham.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers said the dog, which was lying on the floor by the carriage doors, bit the woman on the thigh as she walked past.
The bite punctured the woman’s skin, causing bleeding and bruising, the BTP said.
Officers described the dog as “dangerous” and “out of control”, but said it is not believed to be an illegal breed.
They believe the man in the image may have information which could help the investigation.
