Neil Harris wants his Millwall side to mix the quality on the ball in their win over West Brom with the grit they showed in a stalemate with QPR when they host Brentford at The Den on Good Friday.

The Lions are two points above the Championship bottom three heading into the Easter weekend.

After hosting the Bees, Millwall head to Aston Villa on Easter Monday.

Harris said: “It is just another two fantastic games for us.

“It is a London derby at home and then Villa Park away. They are great games, tough games. I don’t expect anything to be settled over the Easter period at the bottom of the Championship. But it gives us an opportunity to move in the right direction with the games running out.

Jake Cooper celebrates scoring against Sheffield United

“We took five points from three tough games last week and that’s a very good return.

“We saw how important that point on Saturday was on the back of Rotherham drawing, Wigan drawing and Reading winning. That was a huge point at Sheffield United.

“Our focus is fully on Brentford now and trying to win a home game. We have got three left at The Den and we need to perform like we did against West Brom and battle like we did against QPR. A bit of both would be ideal. That’s the message – whatever characteristics and performance are needed.

“We’ve just got to make sure that come Monday evening we are above that bottom three.”
