Catford storage unit featured in ‘Most Boring Calendar Ever’ for 2025

Access Self Storage has launched what may be the most unconventional and is probably the most dull calendar of 2025 – The Storage Unit Calendar. 

With its tongue-in-cheek title of “possibly the most boring calendar ever”, this unique creation features 12 of the “hottest” storage units from across the UK, turning the humdrum world of storage space into an ambitious celebration of minimalism.  

Each month, The Storage Unit Calendar offers a glimpse into a different Access Self Storage location, featuring a range of units from the modest to the expansive. 

Management teams from each Access Self Storage branch shot the images which beat out competition across the companies 58 UK stores, to make it into the final cut.

The calendar starts with a cozy, nine sq ft locker in Fulham and progresses through the UK’s most notable storage units, including a spacious, climate-controlled 75 sq ft unit in Bermondsey.

December brings a spacious 700 sq ft unit in Harrow, perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of vast, empty spaces.

But September brings the star of the show, a sleek 250sqft unit with corrugated iron interior in the heart of Catford – the very home of the South London Press.

Thankfully, this amusing edition is actually a clever ploy to raise money for charity in the spirit of Christmas.

With 100 per cent of the proceeds going to Cancer Research UK (CRUK), profits will support the charity’s ongoing efforts to combat cancer and fund life-saving research.

The calendar is available for just £5, making it a quirky gift that supports a meaningful cause. 

One hundred calendars are available now to purchase at every Access Self Storage, with the aim of raising £30,000 for CRUK.
