Woman found dead in a flat in Deptford

A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was found in a flat in Deptford.

Police were called to a flat in McMillan Street, shortly after 10.00am on October 21, following concern for the welfare of a person living there.

The body of Zoe Orton, aged 46, was found at the address.

Next of kin have been informed.

A post mortem on October 22 and the cause of death given as neck compression.

There have been no arrests so far.
