Sugar’s apprentice opens second bakery after success of first

Lord Sugar’s latest business partner Carina Lepore, of Dough Bakehouse, is launching a second branch within a year of winning The Apprentice.

The new Dough Bakehouse, in Beckenham High Street, is complete with in-house bakery, café and an extensive outside terrace area.

The Beckenham branch, which follows the first one in Herne Hill, will see Dough Bakehouse extend its range of products with new products including a new dough’nut range and a limited edition one metre ‘social distancing baguette.’

Carina said: “After winning The Apprentice it means so much to have Lord Sugar’s backing in a family-run business with big ambitions.

“We’re really excited to be launching our second branch and bringing our fantastic products to Beckenham High Street. I can’t wait to open the doors to new customers in Beckenham and beyond.”

Lord Sugar commented: “Carina and I are delighted that Dough Bakehouse continues to go from strength to strength, and the fact that we are launching a second branch in the middle of a pandemic is a testament to the strength of the brand and Carina’s determination to succeed.”
